Today, Konami greeted gamers with a 48-hour countdown clock posted at the Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain 's official website .
Obviously, this means they're going to announce something big on Wednesday but thus far, we have no hints or clues. Given that we already know quite a bit and the title is slated to launch some time later this year, perhaps we're getting the finalized launch date.
We'll find out at 6 a.m. PST on Wednesday, March 4. If it's not a concrete release date, what do you think it could be? I know, an announcement that a fully rebuilt version of the original MGS will be included with MGSV.

Well, it's not Square Enix but still a Japanese dev, so it must be a new mobile app of some sort, one that does something mildly related to Phantom Pain?

Well the timer is on a Seiko watch, so maybe they are going to announce an MGS 5 themed watch?
Otherwise I have no clue, hopefully it is a release date but I doubt we will get something like that.
A release date would always be appreciated but well I just can't hope for Ernst this time, still im eager to see what they reveal as this is the reason I bought a ps4
