Revelations 2 Supports Cross Buy If You Choose Digital

Cross-Buy is a good thing.

There's just one catch: If you wish to enable the Cross-Buy incentive for Resident Evil: Revelations 2 , you have to pre-order the $25 digital version.

This will guarantee that you get both the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 versions of the episodic series. And Episode 1 drops next week so you better act quickly. Additionally, you will have to wait: As publisher Capcom said on its blog :

"While this feature won't be active on launch day, those who preorder will be entitled to both versions of the game shortly after."

This means you won't be able to access both versions immediately out of the gate, when the title launches on February 24. I'm still not sure what the benefit is of having two versions of a game, especially when one is obviously going to be better than another, but whatever.

Really hope this episodic thing doesn't catch on it made sense with the Telltale games but a action horror game such as Resident Evil should not be broken up into small spread out chunks like this.

I agree. I generally despise episodic content. One of the few games that got episodic content I really liked, Half Life 2, was still a huge disappointment in the end because we never even got the final episode and have been living with a massive cliffhanger for 8 years now.

The only be if it I see is for ppl who adore trophies to pad the number they have or if maybe u have a child that plays ps3 n u play ps4 but other than that crossbuy is useless cause I'm sure its not like cod were ur save is transfered back n forth
