If you think Dying Light could be even more challenging, you'll appreciate this news.
Techland has announced plans to release several free expansion packs for the open-world zombie survival game. The first of these packs is slated to land next month and it features a brand new difficulty: Hard Mode.
In this mode, players will have to face a series of tough nighttime scenarios, which will be full of "more vicious" enemies. You'll also have to deal with fewer supplies and ammunition, so tact and strategy will be paramount.
Said producer Tymon Smektala:
"A few gamers have already finished Dying Light and are asking for more. So we're going to give our community a new challenge that will put everything they learnt in the game to the test. Hard Mode is exactly that. We're aiming to have it out around the start of March, if not sooner. Depends on how brutal we wanna make this on people."
That same expansion will also deliver "many improvements" to the gameplay along with some new character outfits. We're not sure what gameplay upgrades we can expect but I've got a few ideas in mind… Anyway, this free update will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC versions of the game in question.
We'll let you know about the other free expansions when Techland feels like cluing us in.

sounds alright to me seen as the game has been out long enough now to justify more coming any sooner and i would have given them a bit of grief
