Ben-DutkaI think we all saw this coming.
During the 2015 Technology, Internet & Media Conference, Electronic Arts CFO Blake Jorgensen hinted that the next Titanfall game would release for multiple consoles .
The project hasn't received an official unveiling just yet, but he did say there'd "probably" be another game and if and when it comes out, it won't be restricted to Xbox:
"Last year it was on the Xbox only; in the future, we haven't yet announced, but we'll probably have another Titanfall game. It will probably be a bigger footprint than just a single platform. I think that's a huge positive for us."
Titanfall launched for Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC in March of 2014 and received widespread acclaim, although perhaps not to the level some anticipated. Being published by EA, the chances of a second title remaining exclusive to Xbox – and thereby missing millions more potential sales on PlayStation – were basically nil. Like I said, I think we all knew that.
The question is, do PS4 players even want a Titanfall sequel…? Personally, I couldn't possibly care less.

Loved the first game. I'd get a sequel day 1 on PS4.

i could care less. i havent played it, but based off what ive seen it looks like cod but with mechs lol, im gonna get hated for this comment.
also, if this game comes to ps4….im willing to bet itll run better.

I'm happy to get the sequel, I'll just never care *that* much about multiplayer-only games. Now if they do a single player/co-op campaign in that very cool universe as well in Titanfall 2… then we may be onto something right up my alley 🙂
Titanfall on the PC felt out of place because of the crazy amount of aim assist going on.
However, I think it would work much better on consoles, and it will be nice for PS4 owners to get this game.
Its a fun game, definitely more refreshing than CoD although at times feels very similar.
Titanfall only offered aim assist on PC when using an Xbox controller. If you use a keyboard and mouse (and for the love of god why wouldn't you if you're playing a FPS on PC?) there is no aim assist.
This was actually part of some big controversy about a Titanfall MLG tournament when a console team joined a PC tournament and used their controllers.
So, I'll admit I am an ignoramus when it comes to Titanfall. I did watch a few gameplay videos and besides the parkour and calling a mech to play in, what makes it different from any other "run around in an arena, killing as many other players as you can" FPS?
