Remember the days when launch day marked the end of the development process?
Well, anyway, developer Turtle Rock Studios has confirmed a day-one patch for their anticipated co-op shooter, Evolve .
Coming in at approximately 3GB, the patch improves load times, matchmaking and network bandwidth optimizations, and also fixes a few bugs found during the alpha and beta tests. The update will also address some balancing issues with the Hunters and Monsters, and adds connectivity to the recently released Evolve mobile game. Oh, and the patch revamps the Elite skins for characters based on community feedback:
"We’ve updated or outright replaced the assets that were already in the game. All you need to do to unlock them: EARN THEM."
Looking forward to Evolve ? It should be one of the better games of the generation, provided Turtle Rock delivers on their promises. Hunters vs. Monsters; 4-on-1 goodness, right around the corner!

cant wait to play it this week.
Just goes to show those without internet will have to suffer from broken or unfinished games. It's now the norm to release first, and finish by patch.
Being fair this is pretty much an online on,y game, so it is sort of to be expected, but I do share that feeling for single player games.
I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that people without internet probably aren't going to purchase a game that is online only…
I've preordered this, as most other online mode have team modes, but it's still every an for himself on something like CoD. Evolve seems like you really need to focus on teamwork, so it looks like it will be a very engaging online game 🙂 I just hope with 3-4 initial monsters it doesn't get stale.
