Dark Souls II PS4 Manages To Max Out At 1080p/60fps

If you missed out on one of last year's best games, you'll get another chance.

Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin will release on April 7 and as revealed over at the PlayStation Blog , it'll be a graphical powerhouse.

The PlayStation 4 iteration will put out 1080p HD resolution at 60 frames per second, which is a big upgrade from the 720p/30fps numbers in the PS3 version. We don't know yet if the Xbox One version of Scholar of the First Sin will also hit 1080p/60fps but don't be surprised if it doesn't; Xbox One counterparts haven't been matching up in this category so far this generation.

Also, the new version will boast gameplay adjustments, as the locations of some enemies and items have changed. Foes will also follow you "more tenaciously," even through fog gates, which could be a serious problem for the rash adventurer.

The updated edition arrives on April 7 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.

I have nearly 300 hours for the PS3 version so as much as I would like to jump on this one, I'll be too busy playing Bloodborne.

Not to mention, I have yet to play Dragon Age.

This and Bloodborne are going to take up so much of my time it's not even funny. I can't even begin to describe how many hours have been stolen by Dark Souls 2 already, and this version sounds like something I need to get my hands on, with its revised areas, enemies, items, and new additions such as NPCs.
