Another innovative, creative game for the PlayStation Network.
From new developer OSome Studio (created by former Eden Games employees) comes White Night , a unique noir horror game for PlayStation 4, which is set to launch on March 3.
As detailed over at the PlayStation Blog , White Night is set in Boston in the 1930s and it boasts that distinctive black-and-white film noir style. As the creators had experience with Alone in the Dark , they adopted some of those classic horror themes: "mature storytelling, strong characters, compelling environments, and equal respect for tension and terror. White Night is a good old ghost story full of mystery, poetry, alchemy, and suspense."
The designers sought inspiration everywhere, from jazz music from the era in question to black-and-white cinema. Hell, they even rented a mansion in Normandy, where they stayed for a week to "steep ourselves in the setting." Such commitment and dedication should pay off, yes?

Okay that's a digital game for me!
Is anyone else feeling an Unfinished Swan for adults vibe?
Not that there would be anything wrong with that of course.

Before watching the trailer I was going to dismiss this with a big 'whatever,' but now…well, I'm intrigued. Looks interesting.
