Some people just don't appreciate the immense amount of work that goes into creating a virtual world.
A massive environment like the one we got in Grand Theft Auto V took years and countless hours to create. For a more visual understanding of such an effort, check out GTAist , where you can find side-by-side comparison images for GTAV's Los Santos and the real-world Los Angeles metropolis. Pictures include the Griffith Observatory (Los Angeles) vs. the Galileo Observatory (Los Santos), along with skyline images and surprisingly detailed pics. It's very interesting to see just how close Rockstar got to the real thing.
GTAV has been out for a while, but it did just release for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One late last year. If you haven't yet had the pleasure, you're missing out on one of the very best games ever . No exaggeration.

Pretty cool. Reminds me of Fallout 3, the streets and building locations and spots were all really on the spot with Washington DC, of course with the adjustments for 1950s look and some ruined spots.
I agree with some of the comments, cool idea but somewhat ruined by the fact that the "on screen phone" takes up half the image in some of those shots and that several of them are insanely out of focus so you can't even tell what it's supposed to be.
yeah maybe i might get it at some stage but yeah it does take alot work to make these world and i can appreciate them
happy gaming
Definitely glad to see a strident effort to distinguish the PS3 from the PS4 in terms of capabilities. Wish BioWare would have done the same for Inquisition…
