We have to wait until June but chances are, it'll be well worth the wait.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is easily one of the most anticipated titles of the new generation and CD Projekt Red is pulling out all the stops this time around.
In this new gameplay trailer, we get a fair amount of narrative and lots of beautiful sights. There's some combat as well but it's mostly geared toward the atmosphere, story and characters, all of which hold a gigantic amount of promise. The world you will explore is rich, diverse and loaded with adventure, and you'll face plenty of obstacles. Is this the game for you?
Well, watch this footage and then see if you've got a few months put aside to play.

Still hasn't won me over. I'd sooner go back to DA: Inquisition and spend some more time there before coming here. The single hero thing bothers me a lot about this one.
I had to retool things and start Inquisition over so it wasn't as terrible. Still… SSDD.
I love focusing on one character more than a party. I'm still super stumped that you don't like these games, considering your love for games like Ninja Gaiden etc.
The witcher 2 at release was really hard, on normal I had to use everything to win it felt so great.
I liked Dragon Age inquisition but it has nothing on The Witcher 2 in my books, both in terms of choice and consequence and in how fun the gameplay is.
Xenris. I can't say I don't like them. I've never played them. What I see is a big rpg that needs tons of time. I have to be really picky with RPGs. Otherwise I wouldn't have time to play anything else. It's just when it comes to RPGs I really tend to prefer a party. Bethesda's stuff is basically the only RPGs I play solo. Even then I've only completed one of their games, fallout 3. Witcher looks cool I just don't think its right for me.
Ahh, okay I gotcha. I still think it would be up your alley. At the very least I think you should give the witcher 2 a whirl. It is long but not open world so you don't get so overwhelmed.
Have you played Divinity:Original Sin? Its on Steam, amazing party RPG. I have only seen it played by my friend but its very awesome. I hope it gets on to the consoles at some point, nothing like it has been on a console before in terms of RPGs.
Thanks Xenris. I've had a few occasions to get Witcher 2 super deluxe edition for like $3 on Steam, among other games. Maybe I might get it on the next go around just for you.. And every time I see them sales I think, why the heck should I buy this when Skyrim and a crap ton of other Steam games, including Bioshock, just sit there mostly unplayed. There's way more games released than I have time to play. I can't catch 'em all anymore. There's certain franchise favorites of mine, though, that get VIP seating. Meaning when those games release they go straight to the front of the line. That's games like Ninja Gaiden, Batman, and Mass Effect etc.
I did get Double Dragon Trilogy from Steam the other day and played that for about 15 min and had a great time. (except for 3. 3 sucks). But the first game is a complete classic and they did good at redoing the soundtracks (option is there to listen to both)

The Witcher sits on a throne above all those other games.
I know I will get it but school just started and that severely slows down all the gaming.
Just started playing Shadow of Mordor (thanks again Ben) and the last time I enjoyed action this much was back in the original Devil May Cry 3….jeez.
I played for around 3 hours and my eyes did not hurt unlike when I play Far Cry 3. Starting to think I may have some motion sickness when playing FPS for too long.
1 to maybe 2 hours on most nights at the very end of the day?
Temjin001,
Mostly in the afternoon on a weekend or afterwork at nights (if I have free time).
Doesn't seem like you're doing high school to me. What kind of degree you going for?
Master in Business Administration [MBA] with a concentration in Management.
Some will not go for such a degree but I want all types of doors to be opened for me.
Thats great. Your name seems fitting 🙂
