Here’s One Way To Level Up In Destiny Without Doing Anything

Hey, not everyone has the time to max out a Titan in Destiny .

Ever wish your character could just keep slogging away and earning EXP and other goodies while you went to work? Well, check out what one player did:

A player known as yavin427 explained the process of modding a controller to play for him while he slept. You can check out the explanation at Reddit and the corresponding YouTube video is below. Basically, he taped two servomechanisms to his Xbox One controller, which just causes the character to keep hitting the melee button.

The contraption resulted in 3,600 enemy kills, which boosted his level 16.5 character to 20 overnight. He did, however, admit he could've probably done it much faster himself, and he adds:

"To those saying it's pathetic, I don't disagree with you. But it's much less an exploit (least effective way to level up ever) than a bit of fun, just to see if it could be done, and no one else was negatively affected by it. Some people did get some laughs out of it though."
