The date is now written in stone.
Developer Ready at Dawn has announced that the anticipated PlayStation 4 exclusive, The Order: 1886 , has gone gold and will be on store shelves on February 20.
Ready at Dawn began creating the game in January 2011, which means it will have taken over four years to put in the hands of gamers. But if this adventure is as involving and intense as it appears to be, it'll be well worth the wait. Pre-ordering will net you The Knight's Arsenal DLC, along with a couple of costumes and weapons for the main character, Galahad. Pre-ordering at GameStop will get you the Knight's Endurance Pack, which features a Desert Khaki uniform as well as an Endless Blackwater Tonic.
It's almost time to see if this is the PS4 exclusive we all hope it'll be.

This f*ckin better be Sony's next Uncharted/Assassin's Creed. I swing blindly at the darkness with me sword too mateys.
I'm tapped already with DOA5 LR but I do have a birthday on the 26th of Feb. so maybe I can score this one as well.
Happy Birthday! I'm gettin DOA5LR too. My dad's is the 22nd so I'm getting him something fun.
I'd fight you but Im amateur and would lose the holds.

Still really on the fence with this one, I doubt it will be a day one Purchase as I have ordered the Collectors Edition of Final Fantasy Type-0 HD set for release a few weeks later. But it it turns out to me more than Gears of War in a new coat I'm game.
im def gonna play it to see if the hype was worth it, but i wont preorder.
When is the embargo date?! I think there as many gamers who want to see the review scores role is as there are pre-ordering the game.
I see this game as thie gen's Vanquish now. It may be a bit short and not have what many think third person shooters are supposed to like mp, but it will be a hell of an adventure from beginning to end, begging to be played through multiple times.
What makes you think it will be short? I know your not knocking it for that reason, your just assuming it will be. But like the example you give some of my favorite games are very short, like the first GoW. Quality over quantity any day.

I just get a vibe from the game that is won't be over 7 hours. Because the game looks tight, linear, and seemingly gone over with a fine tooth comb down to the inch, typically those aren't long campaigns. Certainly nothing scientific, just a bit of Kentucky windage on my part.

Taking a blind leap and buying this day one. I'm still unsure about it, but in my mind this has to be good, for Sonys sake. So I'm supporting it.
Is it me or The Order 1886 doesn't feel spectacular?
Let me elaborate — Whenever I watch trailers or gameplay videos — I don't get goosebumps or a feeling of "This is going to be great!". I know things can change when playing a game but I don't think I'll be buying The Order 1886.
well this game looks great, its great that it is offically done and ready to go and hopefully it'll work well and run well as most if not all sony games do minus driveclub
so i have all confidence that this game will be great and work well from a good dev RAD but i don't think that theres any need to have pesimisim or need to worry
looking forward to it
happy gaming
Im taking a blind leap and buying this day 1. I'm hoping to be pleasantly surprised by it.
If anything it will show of the power of the PS4 and impress my dad when he sees me playing.
hope for once a game lives up to the hype!
looks interesting so far, especially like the crazy weapons.
hope they release a patch close to release though to allow the 16:9 aspect ratio come on dont let such a good game be ruined by something so trivial!
exactly why i refuse to buy any movies on bluray the black bars top and bottom just get so distracting and really frustrating!
I hope so :^) Since I'm spending 150$ on it.
