You can always count on the PlayStation Network to house some truly original games.
As revealed over at the PlayStation Blog , Splice is headed to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 on January 20. It will retail for $15 and it'll support the Cross Buy initiative as well.
As the name sort of implies, players will be splicing genes; indie studio Cipher Prime has also thrown in a gorgeous soundtrack. How to make science fun? Well, maybe this is precisely how you do it. Said Creative Director William Stallwood:
"We've been working for months to bring you a truly amazing experience for Playstation. It's been a childhood dream of ours for such a long time to release a game on a console, and Splice will be our very first. We couldn't be more excited to share with you our award-winning puzzler."
To celebrate the launch, they're offering the original soundtrack, "Flight of the Angels," for free this week. You can even get the sheet music for the songs, for $5. This could be a really unique, amazing experience!

Anyone else get a thatgamecompany feel from this?
Anyway, I think it looks kind of neat. I'll check it out after I see some more information and people's impressions of it.
It's a decent game, but seriously: You can get it for around three dollars on your mobile.
Yeah yeah I know, it's not the same as having it on the big screen and a controller, but still. It *is* a ported mobile game.
idk about this but it does a thatgamecompany feel to it, artful feel to it
happy gaming
