Evolution Studios game director Paul Rustchynsky answered some fan questions on Twitter recently, and we got new info on upcoming DLC, new cars, and server performance (as summed up by DualShockers ).
First, after teasing a new location, he confirmed that all new tracks will be free. That's great news, because it means we'll continue to get more track diversity for no extra cost. Then, a fan listed some of the cars he'd like to see in Driveclub , and Rustchynsky responded:
"Nice car selection 🙂 Expect to see some of those down the line. Can't say which though :P"
Lastly, he added that the smartphone app is still coming, and the team continues to work on various improvements, including the slow server synchronization. Driveclub 's just gonna keep getting better!

I'm nearly there in unlocking the final race event in the game's main tour mode.
It's cool that the other free DLC tours also have their own points and trophies etc.

Did the AI improve any after the first Motorstorm released? I've only played the first one and although I think you'd be hard pressed to find anything worse than the cheating *ss AI in The Crew, Motorstorm needed a little improvement.
The AI is currently too aggressive. But the developer has stated the next upcoming patch, presumably 1.10, is supposed to really address the AI. The problem is more the combination of 'rubber banding' -hate it- and aggressive AI. If it didn't have one or the other the problem wouldn't be very noticeable.
Also on the real fast races, like Super and Hyper, drafting becomes a big deal. It helps you a lot but it also helps them a lot, and they're sometimes wreckless with it.
I think I read something somewhere that they're going to tweak the drafting. Not sure if that means adding it more prominently to slower races or what. But right now it's a big deal in Super and Hyper races.
Anyway, the game is always evolving and improving and growing. I can easily rate it higher than an 8.0 now.

i wouldnt know if i am a fan of the game since i have not tried it. they lied about the ps plus edition, no matter what the content of it, so i will boycott this game.
I'm not sure you could say they lied – they still intend to release the PS+ edition, and you'll still be able to play the full range of activities available in the game (just with a limited range of tracks and cars). Yes, it's been delayed a lot, and their server issues were a shocker (and still need polishing – they're probably where I would have expected them at launch now), but boycotting what is one of the best games yet released because you can't accept the devs making a mistake is only limiting your own fun based on somewhat unbalanced principles.
apparently Infamous First Light was was supposed to be the replacement to the Drive Club offering… or something like that.
my view of the whole thing, they told us it would be a launch game, it wasn't. fine i can deal with that. delay it to make it better. rather have it that way.
then they promised that we would get a copy of the game for being ps members AT LAUNCH OF THE GAME. then it was a percentage of the game. whatever.
then it was days after the game came out, oh by the way we are not giving you that thing we said we were.
now MONTHS LATER we still have not heard of this ps plus edition. i dont think we will ever see said thing.
i may try a ps plus version if they ever get around to making it, but they will get no $$$$$ from me.
not sure how telling all ps gamers you get said thing and then not giving us said thing when they said they would is not a lie.
I don't know what nationality you are frylock25, but as an American, I'm use to hearing lies. The government lies, the media lies and now the whole world seems to have adopted the practice as if it were a universal language.

i stopped watching tv because i couldnt take the dumb crap on it anymore. i only watch a few shows from hulu or netflix or amazon iv.
if they really gave us first light to replace drive club then wheres the other jan ps4 game? drive club was its own thing outside of any monthly thing. the whole thing with this game just irritates me.
i expect more from Sony. I feel like Jack Trenton stepped down for a reason. even when they got hacked i only wanted ps plus days replaced for down time. the games were a huge bonus. that was not something they could control. this is something they promised us and then did not give us.
I already bought First Light when it released. If it replaces Driveclub, then as far as I'm concerned they did indeed lie. PS plus in my opinion, should be changed from two games per console each month, to one game of your choice every two or three months and I'd be happier.
i have so many games that i have decided not to buy any games on psn unless it has a plus discount or sale that makes it a stupidly good value to buy it over the physical price. that means waiting for digital only things like first light. i knew first light would get some kind of discount.
I'm still mad abouthat the whole ps+ edition.
Whats their plan? Wait till its so old that the servers can take it because no one owns a ps4 anymore?
