Developer Bungie has revealed the lists of the most popular weapons in the online shooter, Destiny .
They've broken out the lists into various categories, such as Top 10 Primary Weapons for Players Rank 20 or Above, Top 10 Primary Weapons for All Players, etc. As Bungie said:
"Weapon use in Destiny is pretty diverse and follows a very fat 'long tail' distribution. The guns on these lists are indeed awesome but a lot of players are finding that other, more obscure weapons better fit their tactical needs or their personal play styles. Besides, punching all of the aliens in the face is obviously the correct way to play Destiny anyway."
It's always interesting to see which guns are the most popular, especially in a game with so many players. And it gives the developers an idea of the game's balance, too.

I like hand cannons and auto rifles most usually.
btw, Bungie needs to do more for guys who aren't forming fireteams of their own. This is a Game of the Year pick by professional editors afterall.

I hear you. I'd love to do the nigthfall and heroic with a person or two but don't want to have to ask. Just match me up! Cripes, I haven't even done the Crota raid yet either.

I TOTALLY agree. I'd personally make it Game of the Decade if they do matchmaking (or some form of a limited version of it) for raids and weeklies.
Yeah, I'm all about the Autorifle! (especially in the Crucible)
This weekend, Xur is selling the same Hand Cannon (again)… for like the 3rd time. Lame!
