Quite obviously, this will be the definitive edition of Street Fighter IV .
PlayStation 4 owners will get Ultra Street Fighter IV and Sony shared some new details over at the PlayStation Blog .
The updated version will boast five new characters six new stages, and all the previously released costume DLC. Plus, fighting aficionados will appreciate Omega Mode, which makes the experience that much more dynamic. Ultra Street Fighter IV is already out for last-gen consoles and PC but this is the one die-hard Street Fighter fanatics have been waiting for. And no, they haven't announced an Xbox One version.
Oh, and don't forget that Street Fighter V will be exclusive to PS4 as well.
Related Game(s): Ultra Street Fighter IV
I think because Sony announced this during the PSE as an exclusive. This as well as SFV, if I recall correctly.

just so nobody gets confused, the PS4 version has just the costume DLC as a bonus over the PS3 edition (already released). this PS4 version also requires a PS Plus subscription to play online.
EDIT: Ideally this is the one I'd like to play but until I can either get an adapter for my arcade stick or I buy a new one I'm not too interested.

Whats the deal with your stick, wouldnt it be usb?
It's USB but the PS4 apparantly doesn't support any kind of PS3 legacy drivers. Too bad to. There was a time when my PSX controllers could work just fine on my PS2.
EDIT: I suppose there's still hope. Maybe on a future PS4 firmware update, support for my stick will get added.

aw sucky. I think my Ferrari wheel said it would still work on PS4. I hope that's true I don't wanna buy another wheel.
There is hope. Skullgirls developer has a driver that makes the Mad Catz sticks compatible and is not only using it for their game when it comes to the PS4, but is making it freely available to anyone else.
Whether Capcom uses it is another story.
I have the Mad Catz TE2 Persona fightstick preordered since there's no hope that my PS360+ modded fightstick will work (it does, but it's not really ideal having to soft reset every 8 minutes).

Nuts to Street Fighter, I want a date on DOA5 PS4.
ya' must mean DOA6.
DOA5 LR is due out Feb. 14th or something.
Oh it does have a date? I'll try not to be broke by then. I doubt we see DOA6 for years. Slow-ass sons of greasedonkeys. They should be pumping out those bouncing boobies faster.
It's $39.99. There's different pre-order bonuses based on the retailer: Gamestop, Amazon, Best Buy.
I like Gamestop's because it has cool ninja outfits.
I'm hoping something PSN comes for pre-order.

Ninja outfits you say? hmmm, I'm so used to Amazon I hate to make a change but that's tempting. I kind of want to get a fight stick for that game now, make it an event.
Cool. But DOA is pretty accommodating to game pads. Something like SF or VF have it embedded into the game mechanics that if you're ever playing without a joystick you're at a disadvantage against a person who is.
Will be mine when getting a PS4.
Called this, I knew this would happen haha. The thing is this could be a very bad move. I mean, Street Fighter V has a lot to overcome with IV steering the series back in the public eye, but with the release of the Ultra edition of SF4… I'm sort of tempted to buy that instead of SF5… mostly due to ST5 being the standard edition with SF4 is the Ultra (Please be) final edition of the game. It just seems the more sensible choice of the two.
What?! IV steering the series back in the public eye??? SFIV almost single handedly revitalized the entire fighting genre!
It's regarded as the best street fighter (and arguably the best fighting game) of all time so what public are you talking about?
Vivi the idea of dlc for most fighters is to keep the game freshened up for the online community who plays these games for a decade and more. Many of these hardcore have hundreds of hours logged un any gven iteration of the game. Tweaks to the combat and system and a handful of new characters is nice and all for a more casual guy but I'd imagine the big draw to sfv for the standard single player guy is to just see it, feel it, smell it, touch it then move on to something else.
