If you haven't been following along, here's the story:
There's a possibility that BioWare Austin's episodic online RPG Shadow Realms has been rebooted, and may not launch now until 2017. It was originally revealed with a tentative release window of 2015.
This according to what several anonymous sources told Kotaku : Two sources claimed the project was canceled but a third "reliable" source says it wasn't axed, but just "significantly overhauled." It seems the game will now have a full campaign (something we'll always support) and it'll launch for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, which is noteworthy because it was initially revealed only for PC.
Kotaku also has a photo of an internal EA database that shows Shadow Realm 's online servers were recently turned off. One last piece of info: BioWare Austin Community Manager Eric Musco said on Reddit last month that the game is "absolutely not canceled." Well, what do you think?

I had to google this game to see what it was.
Asymmetrical online games like this and Evolve seem to be taking off without it being proven if people will even like them or not. They sound really fun, but also sound extremely difficult to balance. Hope it works out, it could create very new experiences.
