In addition to returning combat icons, the designers are creating a few new characters as well. Game director Katsuhiro Harada has revealed one of them: Shaheen.
Hailing from Saudi Arabia, Shaheen appears to be a character that will focus on speed and agility. Harada also said on Facebook that if the character "is not received well by the Middle Eastern Tekken fans," there's a chance he will be changed or ditched. However, that doesn't seem to be a problem for the time being, as the community's response to Shaheen has thus far been pretty positive.
The more fighters, the better! A lot of core fighting followers like to choose just one character to master but many other avid fans like to become proficient with numerous characters. Me, I was always partial to Kazuya and Law but I was more of a Dead or Alive person, anyway.
