It's not enough that we get a Definitive Edition; we might also get a Collector's Edition on top of that.
As noted by Game Idealist , online retailer Amazon has updated pages for the upcoming DmC: Devil May Cry Definitive Edition . Now, it lists a Standard Edition, so it stands to reason there's going to be another edition…and it's gonna have the name "Special," "Limited," or "Collector's." For those who want the best possible DmC experience, they might have to spring for the mystery package.
If you didn't already know, the Definitive Edition includes 1080p resolution, 60 frames per second, all the previously released downloadable content (including Vergil's Downfall campaign), the Gods Must Die difficulty level, Hardcore Mode, Must Style Mode, Turbo Mode, and Vergil's Bloody Palace Mode. It should be ready to go in summer 2015.

Cant wait.
I think the standard edition will be good enough for me, I don't even care about the DLC. I can't play those hard modes and controlling Vergil is super weird. Just gimme the retro Dante outfits and the 60fps and 1080p upgraded textures.
