Another example of Japanese gamers getting cool custom systems.
A few days ago, we learned about the special Limited Edition PlayStation 4 units that will celebrate the launch of Final Fantasy Type-0 .
Now, Yakuza fans have reason to cheer. As revealed at Sony's Japan Store , gamers in the Land of the Rising Sun will get not one, but two Yakuza -themed PlayStation 4 consoles. There's the Kazuma Kiryu Edition and the Mashima Goro Edition, and both feature dragon artwork inspired by the Yakuza tattoo design. The systems actually boast laser-engraved HDD covers; the machines themselves aren't designed (but that's okay, right?).
You can get them in either Jet Black or Glacier White and they'll be available on March 12, 2015, to help commemorate the release of Yakuza Zero . Western gamers are behind on the series but at least we're getting Yakuza 5 next year.
pretty badass looking ps4 right there
I wish they'd use the larger side of the ps4 and do a better graphic on these special edition ps4's. I just find the ones they are doing as very minimal on the special part.
I agree. This is no different than getting one of those custom covers. If it's a limited edition, it shouldn't be able to be duplicated.
The way they embed PS4 into the console, is the way they should do the graphics and it would look like a limited edition to me.
They always get the best toys!
