Yep, we can hear it now: "Well, it's about damn time !"
Fans of Grand Theft Auto V 's online multiplayer mode have been calling for the addition of Heists since last year. Now, they're finally confirmed.
Rockstar Games has announced that online Heists will come to all platforms in early 2015. To celebrate the announcement, they've also revealed a new trailer that highlights the oft-requested addition and it's pretty sweet. Said Rockstar in a statement:
"[Heists] will require tight communication and coordination, with players taking on specified roles at each point to accomplish multiple objectives on the way to each Heist's epic finale. Featuring new gameplay, new vehicles, new weapons, new clothing, and much more."
The developers originally wanted Heists to release earlier this year but they needed more time to create the content. When embarking on a Heist online, it'll feel similar to the Heists you pulled in the campaign: You'll assemble a crew, choose a strategy, and then execute. You ready to lead a crew?

This is welcomed because it will expand upon GTA online making it what it should have been upon release.
I always questioned why they didn't take advantage of it, then I remember GTAO was a hot mess to begin with anyways.
However they should focus on the load times. It's out of control that if I back out of a game mode and back into the open world that it takes upwards of 5-10 min. When in reality I'm in the open world anyways. What it really is doing is transferring players to either another server or another "world" when, why? I'm in one. It's an issue and I've read way to many articles on fixes that don't particularly work but might make things a little less painful.
Anyways I really like GTAO, as much as I enjoyed RDR. But I can't continue to play something that I literally can't play because of loading screens.
New about this is just depressing at this point, how many months does "early 2015" cover?
well atleast you know when ur gunna get it now its got a release date
happy gaming
No it hasn't – "early 2015" is not a release date.
I'm not into online GTA too much, I hope they will release new offline content too or finally some DLC like GTA4 had.
