Remember when most debut trailers for games were in Japanese? Times sure have changed.
Square Enix has released the Final Fantasy XV trailer again and this time, it features English voiceovers.
This trailer first debuted in September at the Tokyo Game Show, and fans got an eyeful of a mythical landscape, four heroes riding in a car, and some glimpses of epic creatures and scenery. Of course, not having it available in English diminishes the appeal just a bit for the Western franchise followers, so this is nice to have. The trailer offers serious visual excellence, which has always been one of this legendary franchise's calling cards.
If you want a sneak peek at FFXV, make sure to snag Final Fantasy Type-0 HD for the PlayStation 4 in March. That's how you can sample the 3-4-hour FFXV playable demo.

Adobe Flash vulnerable, I'll have to check this later to see if the casting is any good.
it didnt expect to bad besides one of the guys voices the guy with the black hair in the back seat with the main character his voice seemed to deep at one point but everyone else seemed like what it should be
ah cool, they usually do a good service to FF thankfully. I mean in the voice department.
loved the trailer gives me hope of the game actually coming out sometime
I hope there's an option for Japanese voice overs.
I never mined the voice acting in XIII but comparing the voice acting on this to the japanese trailer the voice are unbearably bland! I remember when I first saw the trailer, the voice acting genuinely made me laugh as they were all panicking from the big tortoise emerging from the background. I just couldn't believe how static they we're in this trailer. Noctus voice is far too deep and the the chap with the long hair's voice is just unbearably bad. The only one who actually had any sense of personality was the blond chap. I don't usually get hung up on voice acting in games but the Japanese version had far more flare to it.
I thought the blonde guy was the worst.
The blonde guy is exactly how I'd imagine it. Gonna have to agree 100% with vivi here
Not sure if I will pick this up – depends on battle system.
The main thing that drawed me to FF13 was battle system, which I fell in love with. After switching back to FFX I found it so…. boring and static (and I use to love FFX battle system!).
Here's hoping FFXV will deliver.
Is this an anime episode? Doesn't bother me nonetheless but I'm expecting some cheese in deep scenes.
Did anyone else get chills when they heard the Final Fantasy theme towards the end? Never really had that feeling when I played through XIII.
The music will always hold the feels cuz it reminds us of the old ways. I'm getting this game it looks fun but I don't think it'll feel much like the old days.
It's tempting to give up on the hope that we'll ever get a true current gen version of the old days, but I just can't seem to let go. It's possible. It could be done with the right developers behind it. Maybe not Square thought.
FFXV main characters have those kinda of sissy look which doesn't appeal to me or doesn't look worthy to put up a fight. These guys just look like typical members of Japanese rockband group.
Because FF characters are known for being extremely masculine.
I'm looking forward to this game. Voice acting wasn't half bad to be honest, although the main characters voice was a bit deep I can deal with it.
My biggest complaint is the costume change, I think the casts original costumes were much more "final fantasy" looking. I don't think these costumes are terrible and to be honest a lot of nomuras character designs are jpop inspired, I think the originals just looked better overall.
well they do sound alot different i'll give you that not sure really why though
happy gaming
And now we wait; hopefully briefly.
Anyone else hear the mention of Nibelheim? Interesting choice of references.
