The bullet-hell-style shooter Tower of Guns is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PlayStation 3 early next year. These will be ports of the existing Steam game and Grip Digital will handling the publishing, as Terrible Posture Games co-founder Joe Mirabello explained over at the PlayStation Blog .
The PS3 and PS4 ports will support Cross-buy and the PS4 version will run at a silky smooth 60 frames per second and 1080p high-definition. They say a Vita iteration is unlikely; they actually tried it, but the Unreal Engine games don't run well on Sony's handheld. Well, that's okay; at least we're getting it on the big screen via console, and that's good enough. Even though the Vita has produced some really great FPS experiences, the bottom line is that it'll never be quite as good as experiences with more powerful systems.
