DC Comics has announced a prequel comic book that follows the events of Batman: Arkham City .
Bruce Wayne recovers from his injuries and wonders if Gotham really needs Batman to survive. But there are dangerous new threats lurking in the shadows, including a brand new villain never before seen in the Batman universe. Perhaps he'll show up in the comic…
The comic will be written by Peter J. Tomasi with art by Viktor Bogdanovic and Art Thibert. Dan Panosian is the cover artist for the series and the first issue, available on March 11, will feature two variant covers, one by Gary Frank and the other will boast art from the game.
Batman: Arkham Knight is scheduled to launch in June 2015 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
