But they're available nonetheless. As Naughty Dog revealed at their website , one of the new additions to The Last Of Us: Remastered is the "special execution" option.
There are nine available right now in the multiplayer mode for the PS4 version of the game. You have to pay $1 for each; check out a few of them in the new multiplayer faction add-on trailer below. The developers say these new executions are so intense that they weren't technically possible on the PS3 due to "memory constraints on the hardware." There's a bunch of other DLC, too, including new weapons packs and gestures.
Plus, new patches are available for both the PS3 and PS4 versions and you can check out the full patch notes at the website (linked above). Man, if you thought TLoU was too violent before…

Sorry ND, but this DLC is garbage.
Was the gore ever really in bad taste? Compared to certain other games it wasn't that bad. It just complimented the dark and gritty realism of the atmosphere.
I want blood and guts in games like GOWIII and Shadow Warrior because it's just hack n' slash primal fun. I want blood and gore in TLoU b/c it's an essential part of one the best done games off all time that just so happens to be a drak oriented one.
In conclusion: This is just one more reason to be glad I chose this for my one and only Xmass wish list game.
Crap DLC idea. If they're still going to work on DLC for the game how about some story DLC like Left Behind? Or better yet, just get started on that sequel which we all know exists. 😉
