A second patch is ready to go…unless you're an Xbox One owner.
Developer BioWare has confirmed another patch for the well-received Dragon Age: Inquisition ; it's available today for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. They say they're working to deliver the patch to Xbox One "as soon as possible."
The update will address a wide variety of issues, ranging from stability to multiplayer improvements. Full patch notes will go up soon but here's a brief breakdown:
Stability – Various crashes, freezes, audio/voice glitches, and many stability improvements.
Gameplay – Conversations, quests, plot states, combat, UI, camera, controls, follower/enemy AI and path finding, exploits, radar, and search.
Multiplayer – In addition to some of the gameplay improvements listed above, multiplayer fixes also cover areas such as animations, game mode bugs, stat reporting, and stability/crash fixes.
PC – Numerous control & UI fixes, fixes to some hitching, improved Mantle performance, graphical glitches.
We don't know if this patch will fix a bug that's limiting the conversations with NPCs. BioWare asked for feedback on this strange problem some time ago; maybe they'll clarify in the full patch notes. At any rate, a fantastic experience just got better.

This is Great for some reason when I customize hawk I go from an American voice to a brit voice on my main guy! Those freezes drive me nuts!!
Hawk? Wrong game.
Depends on what you did with the back story World. There are a lot of reappearing characters.

Good. It needed a patch.
Love the game though.. mostly.
I had a great playing experience last night.
I was traversing atmospheric swampy marshes and then got my butt handed to me by an area boss in a castle.
It's great stuff.
THe only think that really keeps me from liking the game more is the cast of characters this franchise recycles.
I don't care for Cassandra. Grow some long hair already. Gimlock or whoever the drawf-like guy is, is just too clean and pimp looking for my liking. The religous Mage girl is still an unknown to me right now but can't say I care much for her either. Solas is fine. He's like my Spock.
Agreed. Not the most charming bunch of characters. Although, it doesn't really ruin much for me.
I don't like them either. Cassandra can keep her hair cuz she's a lesbian but this is the worst cast Bioware has ever put together. Who thought these people were as good as the team in DAO?
Well, I'll get to try it out tomorrow! Will get the ball rolling on the patch tonight. I did have a plethora of bugs that were popping up, but all the issues I've experienced were incredibly minor deals.
I'm not too fond of the battle system yet. Have an odd feeling that it'll grow on me. We're talking first hour or three of play, so that's not a big deal. It's a bit fast paced for my liking. Haven't even given the battle command mode or whatever it's called much thought yet. Haven't tried it and feeling a bit gun shy to really delve into it.
Know what you mean by hour or three – thought I'd play for about an hour last night at seven, next thing I knew it was 10:30!
When will this patch comes out here in the US?
Good, this thing is buggy as hell. I noticed they didn't happen much until the time when reviewers would have finished their play time. Then I've got people walking on air and stuff.
I've seen some funky stuff too. I save often just in case my game bugs out.
So far I've only encountered two issues in my game:
Characters reference plot points from the previous games inconsistently. One character mentioning my male city elf Warden who mysteriously disappeared, another character mentioning a female human Warden who sacrificed herself for the greater good.
That, and Varric repeating a weird animation which makes it look like he is constantly squatting.
But nothing major. It's actually impressive how much content is in this game and how many glitches there AREN'T.
The gameplay one's are the worst. I had a bug where I couldn't drink a health potion or call my horse until I restarted the game. I also had a bug where the dialogue box forgot to open until I reset the game.

Spoiler: world:Hawk in the game!!
Meeting the wardens quest is still bugged for me. I was a lucky one and was able to pass it but the game still says that I need to meet them. All of them are just chilling and I can't do anything. After the many hours I've pit into it..idk if I'll actually be able to beat the game now 🙁
well thens hope its fine now no more major patches
happy gaming
So far so good the patch is working for me!
