Earlier this year, we learned that Driveclub would receive a bad-ass dynamic weather system that would have a dramatic impact on the gameplay.
Sadly, we then heard it wouldn't be ready for the game's launch in October. Then, after a rocky start to the experience, everyone sorta forgot about the dynamic weather feature. It was much more important to make sure the game actually worked first, right? But the wait is now over, as developer Evolution Studios has announced that dynamic weather fill be released for Driveclub later today.
It will arrive via free update and it should offer depth and dimension to an already solid racing experience. Evolution still has a few kinks to iron out from a technical standpoint but here's hoping it goes smoothly.

To be fair, weather was promised by the end of the year, so it's not exactly late. I just want to see the servers stable. When ps plus is released, I can only hope they don't go back to square one. I just know people will be bananas on downloading this game and server load will probably more than tripled.
Any word on plus version yet? or is that just an empty promise Sony used to hook people into getting plus?
Did you hear them say is cancelled? I don't know where you've been but past couple months they've been trying to stabilize the game. So until at least the people who bought the game already gets first priority in getting the game working for them then ps plus would simply have to wait. If people get ps plus just for this game, then you're doing it wrong.
This whole Driveclub story has become one long embarassing tale.
Here's hoping for a better year for the Sony exclusives in 2015.
Totally agree it's embarrassing, but underneath it all DriveClub is a great game, I'm enjoying it a heap, and racing isn't my favourite genre. Don't let the media negativity train steer you away from a great game. That said, don't expect the servers to be 100% stable either ;).
Wow. THe Drive Club rain effects are mad impressive. Really. it's incredible.
yeah well i got the patch i downloaded it yesterday it took awhile but the game seems better i guess i'm not sure i don't think i've seen all these yet so i'll get back to you
