Ben-DutkaBoth console manufacturers claim their new game machine is the "best place to play."
Sony is pushing the PlayStation 4 prior to the insanity of Black Friday, and the company released a promo video to help spearhead the new marketing blitz.
The video is about 1:20 in length and shows off all sorts of games, including Grand Theft Auto V , Destiny , Far Cry 4 , NBA 2K15 and FIFA 15 . There are a few exclusives, such as LittleBigPlanet 3 and The Last Of Us: Remastered but as we all know, the exclusive lineup for the PS4 isn't exactly killing the competition right now. Those are on the way but you can't very well advertise them for purchase now .
Anyway, what do you think of the new ad?
Well…its true. the PS4 is the best place to play. Not sure if anyone knows this but, GTAV on xbox cut out textures and small details in places no one really looks like the brush and whatnot in order to keep its framerate. So once again, PS4 plays better than xbox one.
Kinda funny how I mentioned this was Sonys catch phrase like a week ago or something. Or maybe I didn't say it here…either way, called it.
I'm not sure if a few extra bushes has anything to do with how it plays. lol. I mean, really. The disparity we see this gen isnt even in the same world as the embarrassing disparities we saw last gen. Bayonetta, Lost Planet, Ghostbusters off the top of my head. Even Red Dead was sub HD, lower framerate, worse textures, and yes, less bushes in comparison to its 360 counterpart. Didnt stop anyone who had a PS3 (myself included) from enjoying one of the absolute masterpieces the last generation had to offer. Funny how that works, aint it? Back when gameplay kinda mattered more than resolution lines.
The sad truth is people clutch at any straw (in this case, grass) to justify the lack of quality exclusives. 1 year and not one ranked over 80 on Metacritic. It's just not the best place to play THIS year. Next year may change that but we'll see. It's not as if the competition is resting on their laurels.

Talking about consoles, it really depends on which brand you like, which exclusives you like more, and what your friends are playing. Still. There really isnt much difference between the consoles beside framerate, which is subjective, and exclusives.
Where its at is PC and maybe the Steambox. With the utterly ridiculous amount of games and the ease of modding there is no close competition.
What games?
My lord, that ad – wasn't so long ago the pre-rendered cinematics used to advertise games didn't look that good.
Anyways, I personally agree with the sentiment, have a backlog on my PS4, and reckon it's awesome, but regardless of whether Sony's particularly approach hits personal preferences, they're hardly going to say PS4 is the worst or a mediocre place to play :).
This year is meh,but for 2015 sure:with The order/Bloodborne/uncharted 4 and no man's sky[CONSOLES: only on ps4 ] ps4 is THE best console to play your games,also the multiplat games are better on the ps4,so Yessss
Oh and what will be the 2 exclusives that will be announced on 6 dec?more to come
