The hotly anticipated PlayStation 4 exclusive recently got pushed back a month (it's now set for late March), so maybe you need a consolation prize.
You can find it over at the PlayStation Blog where Producer Masaaki Yamagiwa posted up some new information and several new screenshots.
One of those images shows off a new character named Gyula, who is an "old veteran hunter said to possess amazing skill." Nobody has laid eyes on Gyula in a long time so he kinda remains a mystery. Then there's the Cainhurst castle, a strange, dark location full of secrets and dangers. "What happened to the family that ruled this castle for many generations?" You can also check out the new weapon, the transforming cane, which can turn into a whip that reaches across greater distances.

Its like they knew today was my birthday. These screens were so damn good. The enemies designs look gross, with the egg/eyes growing all over their body and whatnot. Still, the game is looking more and more impressive. Course, me being the FromSoft fan that I am, I'd be hard pressed not to be hyped for it.
Also, the lightning adds tons of atmosphere. Loving it.

Such exquisite designs, i love that art.
Maybe for once , the whip won t suck ( hope so ) . Always hated how weak they made them all . Might as well not add a new kind of weapon if your not even gonna make it viable .
I'm with you on the whips but then i realized why, there are some mobs in DkSII that use it to their fullest damage and that thing can be incredibly overpowered.
The level of customization in the Souls games keeps expanding, it's a beautiful thing to see.
Love the character designs and how unique and darker they keep getting.
Looking forward to all these locations and all the insane weapons we can use.
As for me I'm happy with the hammer, ALL I need.
