Well, it can't hurt to check it out, right?
The new PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC iterations of Grand Theft Auto V will feature a first-person mode, and Rockstar has released more details:
It's only available in the aforementioned versions and it can be utilized in both the campaign and online segments. Here's a brief rundown:
Grand Theft Auto V for PS4 and Xbox One launches on November 18, and the PC version will follow in 2015.

You can also make it so when you go in cover it will leave 1st and go to 3rd person. Ign guy played it already and said it makes a big difference in immersion. Your in the car while they hot wire it. He said he was in a gun fight and there was a bullet in the characters arm. It looks good.
I think this is really cool indeed. I switch from 3rd to 1st and back all the time in Fallout.
Option is good!
Brilliant new addition, nearly worth buying the game again for this one feature alone imo. The visual update and added details doesn't hurt either. This game still blows me away and looks like doing so again.
Sweet option. Now I want this game even more!:)

Looks really impressive. I already knew I was going to re-buy this at some point, but the more I hear about the upgrades/additions, the less I want to wait.
Time to buy a ps4
