Bungie continues to work to make Destiny a better experience.
The latest patch has rolled out today and it features a bunch of tweaks, fixes and upgrades. You can check out the full list over at the developer's blog ; here's a look at the highlights:
As many expected, they've closed the most recent loot cave and they've also eliminated a well-known trick that makes the Vault of Glass raid easier. Perhaps the most significant gameplay alteration involves the balancing of the Auto Rifle. The weapon's base damage has been decreased by 2 percent, its stability reduced by 4-17 percent, and they've decreased the damage multiplier from 1.50 to 1.25. Guess this bad boy was just too powerful in Bungie's eyes.
On the flip side, the Scout Rifles enjoy an upgrade, as their base damage rises 6 percent and they get improved auto-aiming and some recoil tuning. Other weapons have been balanced and modified as well, hopefully for the better.

thank goodness scouts have been "fixed". im not too crazy about pulse yet, though i have one, im just maxing it out so i can compare to my scout and auto. im really looking forward to using my scout full time, but well see.
Wait till you get your virtual hands on "Fair and Square"… it's a pulse rifle that when ranked up it turns into a three round burst auto-rifle.
wow that sounds sick.
It's good stuff. I only have two more upgrades to do to it, and then it is maxed out.
I guess I should dl this one. Can't wait for my friend to get his PS4 / Destiny / Wifi service / PS+ so we can check off the Strike missions.
The Strike missions are fun to do with others. My sons and I play them when I get home from work.
It usually ends up with me watching them get the legendary gear though, lol.
oh man, you sir are a bad ass dad!! playing strikes with your sons? thats sick.
Hey thanks, shaytoon.
Destiny is a ton of fun for the three of us.
Especially since they possess better skills then I have, so it makes the higher difficulty ones less challenging.
Still don't see why they had to nerf my pocket Infinity it already has the longest charge time of all Fusion Rifles don't see why they had to remove my extended magazine. =(
But it's very nice to see Scout Rifles getting a buff.
