Dragon Age: Inquisition Offers 150-200 Hours Of Gameplay

As usual, it will depend on how you approach open-world games.

If you just want to drive right through the main story, and you're not much of a completionist, Dragon Age: Inquisition will take you between 20 and 40 hours to finish. But if you're gonna explore every nook and cranny and participate in the co-op…

BioWare producer Cameron Lee tells Polygon that the upcoming RPG could deliver 150-200 hours of entertainment!

"We want to give our players a real world to explore–we want to give them a BioWare story. A really vast, epic BioWare story. That's what we do, and it normally takes 20 to 40 hours anyway to tell the story we want to tell.

People could burn through it and just do the main path, but we wanted to have a world that's fully immersive and well-defined for you to explore, discover, and get involved in. We want you to see your decisions have an impact and take shape in the world. We're just making more. More and more and more. And it's all entirely up to the player. It's your world, your game. "

Beyond the traditional single-player option, this installment will boast cooperative gameplay for the first time in the franchise's history. Obviously, this will be a big part of those 150-200 hours if you're intrigued by the option. And don't forget that the campaign and multiplayer are completely separate experiences, so you won't be simply tackling single-player quests with a friend.

Dragon Age: Inquisition releases on November 18 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. Hope you've got some time on your hands this holiday season!

Does anyone know how the coop works in this game? Is it campaign Coop? Or is it more like ME coop?

It's not campaign co-op. So I imagine it'd be like ME.

I saw a video for the co op mode a while ago and it looked like a dungeon raid from an MMO. It didn't seem horde style like ME3, but I could be wrong.

Okay. I figured it would be like ME3 only a lot deeper. I read up a little bit on it and it sounds like it runs a long side that main story, but that there's a lot to do. Could be fun.

Looking forward to a AAA. As much as I love warming up with Bound By Flame and Arcania it's good to get those AAA ones every 6 years.

Well I spent about 200 hours playing the first one pretty easily, so I can see me spending 400 hours on this one.
