Naughty Dog Unveiling More Uncharted 4 Info “Very Soon”

Normally, we don't like posting news teasers but…well, we're talkin' about Uncharted 4 , here.

We haven't seen much of Naughty Dog's hotly anticipated Uncharted 4: A Thief's End since it was first unveiled in December 2013, although we have been treated to some pretty new media. The good news is that, according to studio co-president Evan Wells, we'll learn more about the project "very soon." He let that little tidbit slip during a GameCrate interview :

"We've been hard at work since E3 and all I can say is that we'll be having some stuff to show you very soon."

The interviewer tried to get Wells to be more specific by asking, "How soon?" But Wells only replied, "Very." Well, that's good enough for now. Here's hoping they've got some gameplay to show us before the year is up, and we'd also love to see a launch date. For now, Uncharted 4: A Thief's End has a vague "TBA 2015" date.

They shouldn't have end Uncharted series with 4 nevertheless they have TWO major countries that didn't implemented Ancient Egypt and Ancient Greece if they were true to the history and right architecture they could make amazingly awesome uncharted games imaging pharaohs and Alexander the great philosophers, 300 spartians and to be resurrected just if naughty dogs could do this

No uncharted needs to end and 4 is a good place to end it… anything after that will be them just milking the series, as if we dont have enough of that going on…

Why does it have to end after 4? There's so much to explore. Beyond Drake this is a huge story arc. There's still tons of potential in the many wonders of the world.

The first only hinted at delving into Drakes past and heritage. But did a great job at making the exploration of El Dorado as important as the characters have become. But they didn't become as focal until the second game. That's when we really learned about Drake and his background then the curiosity arose. That's also when the relationships between these characters also became an important part of what makes the story telling brilliant. I'm not saying this wasn't there in the first game only that the search for El Dorado was just as equally the fascination.

So while the importance of these characters can remain, so can each new adventure. I think most people are almost done with Drake rather than the Uncharted series, but I'm sitting here like "I want to know more, I want to see more"!

Yeah, I don't think it should end either. If MS and 343 keep pushing Halo without backlash, Sony could easily pull it off.

Drake is a staple of the series, indeed, but they could easily do a successful spin-off. There is a lot of potential with gameplay, themes and exotic environments, even without Drake, though I would definitely miss him.

The way they present these games and develop their stories, let's just say I wouldn't mind exploring some good ol' ancient lands a few more times.

ND is an awesome team, ND knows what to do, ND is life.

I say as long as they are able to produce games as great as the first 3 Uncharteds, there's absolutely no reason to end it.

I predict a VGX unveiling, and a November 2015 release date, in keeping with the approximate schedule of previous releases. 🙂

uhuh, and whats the definition of soon?
thats what youve been saying since you announced the frigging thing a year ago!
i mean i know people have been complaining that ND show off far too much of their games, but come on you dont need to take that so literally and take it in the total opposite position!

10 bucks says they try to make a true HD port of golden abyss for ps4 in the next year, priced at 24.99.
Either way you know thers going to be an uncharted 5: drakes drakes final journey.
Theyre practically testing the waters with u4 on the ps4. You really think theyre going to truly blkw us away and mame it great? Its gunna be good but u5 is what will truly blow us all away. Tbis one will kill of sully its obvious, and the next will give drake a happy ending.
