Industry tipster Tidux (who has been both right and wrong in the past), has informed gamers via Twitter that Sony will announce two new AAA PlayStation 4 exclusive titles before the end of the year.
Tidux says "early December" and the games in question are not little indie, downloadable projects; they're "big-budget" productions and both come from Sony first-party studios. If we knew which studios, we could hazard a few guesses but the vagueness of this rumor is a problem. We could definitely use the announcement of more PS4 exclusives, though.
And we already know about Uncharted 4: A Thief's End from Naughty Dog, The Order: 1886 from Ready at Dawn, and Bloodborne , even though From Software isn't a first-party team. Any ideas? I'm thinking Guerrilla Games is finally coming forward with their new project, supposedly a big ol' sci-fi RPG.
I'm hoping for Gran Turismo and GoW. Neither are new and neither haven't had tons of sequels but both need to make an appearance on PS4 sometime soon. They're Sony icons.
I'm guessing it'll be during the VGX awards.
That Guerilla title and either something from Santa Monica (GOW or new ip) or Media Molecule.
Hopefully it'll be the teaser for the RPG from Guerrila Games.
Otherwise, its up in the air about what it could be.
Guerrilla Games wanted to reveal the Horizon Project at E3 but the info that has come out recently (their own fault) has probably forced their hand to announce it this year and then reveal footage at E3. This thing has so much potential I'm so excited about it.
The other will probably be something like a new Naughty Dog project by the split team not doing Uncharted 4. I'm thinking The Last of Us: Final Hope, a new Ratchet and Clank, or something totally new.
God of War would be nice if it were all new with Kratos gone but I think that will be quiet until next year at the earliest.

Yeah that thing, I get the cartoony ones mixed up.
My guess, first party studio quantic dream or it could be any of the devs u guys mentioned.

No they don't but QD has been making exclusive games to Sony consoles for a few years now
So I guess they want to be independent but want to keep making exclusives for Sony PS brand?

Interesting to see the trend towards December reveals – presumably marketers have worked out that December reveals help sales going into Christmas or something. Will be interesting to see what pops up :).
I want a new Jak and Daxter game 😛 But I'm also excited to see what Gorilla games has been up to, and media molecule.
I guess I would rather be surprised with a really neat new IP than just have a sequel be announced.
yeah it'll be interesting to see what this is all about but more news if true no complaints here we like new games

wont be GGs game, they have said multiple times it wont be out till 2016.
plus they have spent a lot of time on shadowfall, hell the co-op maps just released a few WEEKS ago!
not to mention GG is a really small team and they take their sweet time!

$SM just moved studios, not to mention half the studio got laid off recently as well!
not to mention they had 2 teams one was working on a destiny rip off, which got canned causing all the firings, and corys game which hes said multiple times wont be announced till E3 2015 at the earliest.
not to mention they just released GOWA only a year and a half ago, i cant see that being anywhere near enough time for them to build up a new engine for ps4 and get something ready to be shown.
and this is SM, there not going to do a ND and take their heavily used ps3 engine and retool that, thats just not good enough they will have to take on some new crazy tech.
cant wait to see zipper 2.0, lets see some true HD uber realistically detailed intestines!
as for GT7 seriously doubt it as well.
kaz is a perfectionist, not to mention his definition of "soon" has always turned out to 4 years down the track!
if they chuck a GT5 and give us a small amount of tracks, and very few HD cars leave most as still ps2 models, then yea easily could be announced and released within the next year.
but that aint going to satisfy the fans, the standards for racing sims has stepped up signifficantly in the past years with forza, dirt, and now even new IPs like project cars.
GT7 REALLY needs to come out and put the kids in their places, remind them who created this genre.
otherwise they seriously risk falling to the wayside and becoming the new resident evil.
theve massively disappointed their fans FAR too many times, its only a matter of time till they loose faith and stop wasting their time………
id guess more along the lines of games we already know about but havent seen much of yet.
uncharted 4 HAS to be one, i mean come on it was announced at the ps4s launch party and ND have always had big shows at the VGAs, its a no brainier the world premier of uncharted 4 will be there!
as for the second game, who knows.
maybe will FINALLY see what $ony bends been working on?
nah they just started hiring some senior staff recently so it seems like thats still in pre production sadly.

Well they said two new games will be announced and Uncharted has already been announced for a while…. Don't know what they are but I'm hoping they are new IPs… But I do agree with you, ND should've showed atleast a trailer for Uncharted 4 by now but I rather see in game footage already

that always happens though, they say new games to be announced and it just ends up being new information on a already announced game.
i got a funny feeling one of the games will be playstation all stars battle royal 2.0 seeing it was leaked recently, and $ony will want something to go up against nintys SSB and M$s killer instinct.
surprised it hasent been announced already yet!

ill sit in my bubble and say the getaway 3 and a new crash bandicoot game.
nows the perfect time for crash to come crashing back onto our TVs, with NDs recent anniversary, crashes anniversary, the humbug that antivision have only a short amount of time to make a game before they loose the license.
i can smell it, its a coming!!!!!

really wish $ony would allow emulators on the ps4, at least for ps1 and ps2 games!
one area playstation now can REALLY take off, imagine how many briefcases and blank checks $ony would have thrown at them if they allowed people to play those ps1 classics and they also gave said games a nice HD overhaul?
