Thus far, exclusives haven't really been the PlayStation 4's bread-and-butter.
That could change in due time, of course. Next year's Uncharted 4: A Thief's End , Bloodborne , and The Order: 1886 will go a long way to beefing up the first-party exclusive side of Sony's new console.
But for now, we've really only got a small handful, including fun games like inFamous: Second Son . Driveclub is on the way as well, but I doubt its arrival will have a significant impact on PS4 sales. This is why the recent release of Destiny could prove to be the biggest boon yet; it's a third-party multiplatform title, but it's absolutely gigantic. On top of which, Sony's successful marketing campaign throughout 2014 told gamers everywhere that it's a good idea to pick up the PS4 version. Timed exclusive content always helps.
One could argue that currently, there's no one giant exclusive title that helps drive PS4 sales. On the other hand, one could easily argue that Destiny has amped up consumer interest in Sony's next-gen system. Here's the big question, though: Will continued interest in Destiny – down the road, over the years – result in a continued edge for the PS4…?
That remains to be seen.
Isn't this a variation of the same question that's been asked twenty times? It is nice to take a break from the Final Fantasy/Square editorial and conversation starters, though.

All you have to do is answer the question correctly so we can move on to the next. 🙂
The topic could have been discussed in the comments section a few times making it seem as though a similar question has been asked before.
I think it's highly possible that any multiplat title can be a cause for a particular platform's rise (or fall) if there is enough support from both developer and community.
I think Destiny can indeed keep the PS4's edge over competition for at least the next couple of months. After that, we'll have to wait and see.
I believe so. I have friends who've been devoted Xbox fans and when Destiny dropped they picked up the PS4 bundle or if they couldn't get that a PS4 and the game separately.
destiny def is a driving factor for ps4 sales in sept (though i dont have #s to show, but im sure im not wrong) this could continue to lead until the end of the year. not so sure about long term unless the game becomes incredibly successful all of a sudden and a mass amount of people start to play if they arent already. lbp3 will help push more sales during the holiday season but not an impacting factor compared to destiny. though cod has more followers on xb, i think the new cod will sell a lot on the ps4.
well its one of them but its the biggest marketing push for sony to date so yeah maybe i guess so.
happy gaming
