Square Enix has released the first gameplay trailer for Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition , and we can see many of the improvements the developers have made for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC iterations.
Updates include native 1080p HD resolution, heavier traffic, more pedestrians, new lighting and atmospheric effects, and "extensive" texture improvements. Square Enix claims that these upgrades are so significant, that the game's setting of Hong Kong "becomes more than a location; it becomes its own character." Sleeping Dogs was easily one of the most entertaining games of 2012, and these improvements will undoubtedly make it even better.
The Definitive Edition will launch on October 10.
