Destiny Players Finish Vault Of Glass Raid In 37 Minutes

You've probably heard of it by now: The infamous Vault of Glass raid.

A Destiny raid that typically requires a lot of time and several high-level Guardians, the Vault of Glass is widely considered a significant challenge.

However, if you want to be impressed (and perhaps a mite jealous), check out how five Hunters and one Warlock completed this optional mission in just 37 minutes. Bear in mind that the first team to clear this ridiculously difficult raid needed about 10 hours. That puts this feat in perspective, doesn't it? It's supposedly a world record speed run and those who are well-acquainted with the game understand its significance.

Developer Bungie has promised much more content as time goes on, and that will undoubtedly include more end-game raids. Hope you plan to train your Guardian(s) well!

yea, I read about this. the reason the first batch of guys took so long is that they didn't know how to do it. apparently these raids are somewhat like puzzles. where there's a good amount of problem solving involved in order to progress.
the guys who played the raid the first time and took 14 hours to do it were clearly, and most obviously, BRAIN DEAD XBOX gamers =p

Or just kids lol

Definitely weren't kids. Apparently they were all from some high ranking CoD clan so they likely had never touched an MMO in their lives so that probably helped contribute to the roughly 14hr completion time.

Forgive the ignorance… but, what platform was this feat accomplished on? Xbox? PS4? I'm assuming either the PS3 or the PS4.. I am reading this on a playstation-centric website after all. : ))

From anyone's standpoint?

Also, being an intentional speed run you can pass lots of the enemies by and just get to the end. The first team probably went after all the enemies. 37 minutes is still ridiculous.

Please stop calling destiny an MMO. It isn't. Plain and simple. Playing with two to five other players in missions is not MASSIVE. 12 player PvP is not MASSIVE. Traversing terrain that feels like its on a track, with only a handful of other players, is not MASSIVE. They have simply, and cleverly, designed the game so that you waste your time on loot everyone else will get too, until they reach into your pockets again with the "newest" dlc. There are even duplicate weapon models used!!!

Weak customization, weak loot selection, and boooooooooring missions also do not qualify this as MASSIVE. Wake up people. Use your heads.
