Electronic Arts has announced that over 5.5 million gamers have downloaded the FIFA 15 demo, which is a new EA Sports record.
That impressive statistic spans the following platforms: PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. The demo is still available on all these platforms, so the record-setting number will undoubtedly rise even higher. The game in question launched on Tuesday and it's expected to sell extremely well. Said EA Sports boss David Rutter:
"We believe we have built a game in FIFA 15 that delivers the most immersive and responsive gameplay experience ever in the FIFA franchise, and we can't wait for the millions of fans to start their season and experience all of the innovations."
This series is one of the most revered sports IPs in existence, and it seems like EA Sports ups the ante with each new installment. This year's entry should be especially sweet on one of the next-gen consoles so if you're a soccer fan, you should definitely pick it up.

Not really that impressive to me, demo's are free. I download pretty much everything including the fifa 15 demo, but I have no love for soccer.
Before and after playing the demo I knew the demo would probably be all of fifa 15 I ever played.
Didn't bother with 14, have downloaded the demo and it's good. Only disappointing thing – can only play as liverpool or man city…
i will say this i have never seen a demo downloaded so many times in recent memory/times
