So, what level are you in Destiny ?
Haven't reached Lv. 30 yet, huh? Well, someone has: According to his player profile on Bungie.net , American Mark Edward Neace, Jr. (known on Xbox Live as N3AC3Y), is the first player to reach Lv. 30.
It happened yesterday, as he brought his male Exo Hunter character to the max 30 level cap. All told, N3AC3Y has played the game for over 107 hours – spread out across three characters – and two other characters, a male Hunter and a female Exo, are both level 20 or over. Notably, he finished the Vault of Glass raid, which required over 13 hours to complete. This is quite the accomplishment, especially given the fact that Destiny only launched a couple weeks ago.
The game has a soft level cap of 20, but you can go beyond that and reach 30 if you hunt down rare pieces of armor filled with Light Points. These days, I can't put 100+ hours into a game in two months , let alone two weeks. I'm guessing college student…

I'm almost lvl 23. If anyone wants to team up and do the weekly challenge lvl 22 strike where it's set to heroic and the ai is set to "angry" let me know. For some reason the weekly stuff doesn't do matchmaking
Ugh, I'm soooooo jelly!
If you're still waiting to get a PS4 you can buy the PSN Destiny for PS3 and get a free upgrade to the PS4 version when you get the system. Your character carries over between systems.

I do think I'm convinced the game allows faster progression by playing more exclusively in the Crucible. I see Xenris is lvl 24 at 22.5 hours of play.
I'm lvl 22 at 26 hours of play. I've done about twice the number of Strike missions as he has.
But his Crucible games are much higher than mine.
Destiny also offers Crucible factions you can give allegiance too that helps you progress faster to the Legendary gear. PvE players have to grind for Vanguard Rep and Points to achieve such weapons, which is a slow process of heavy repetition. But it's FUUUUUuun repetition hehe.
EDIT: but I do see Xenris is a relative badass in the Crucible. Averaging over a 1.0 K/D ratio of most games. and what's with the 4.67 ratio on one game there? jeesh. ownage

It's not for lack of hardware. I just hate, really hate, FPS on consoles. I'm terrible with a controller. I'll just continue to be jelly and accept your peanut butter.
I do understand. Believe me. Once Destiny comes PC-side I'll likely get it for that too. Aiming with a precision mouse just owns a thumbstick controller in so many ways. Anytime there's manual pointing and clicking acting as a basis for a visual interface it's this way.
There's a reason PC's don't come stock equipped with thumb sticks to navigate Windows, Linux, and Mac OS.
Similarly there's a reason games like DOTA2 and League of Legends and RTS in general are basically non-existent on consoles. The controls suck for them. period

woo hoo! made lvl 23 =)
man, I was on lvl 21 forever, but lvl 22 just flew by.
Temjin, send me a friend request to do the Weekly and Daily Strikes. I'll be on most all day today and tomorrow (days off from work).
PSN ID HARERAZER
okay. so you know I don't do voice chat and my volume is usually down low so I can't always hear people. This is due to playing in house with sleeping kids.
I'm lvl 25, psn is SnowMadClaude. In the UK so time zones might be an issue, but tend to play most evenings.
I'm guessing this is Bikersaint. Where is he?!
I haven't had time to play much so I'm only level 10 but I'm punching above my weight class!
World, fwiw, level 10 (I'm at 18 now) was when I started to start seeing more frequent green items and at about 14 I started getting a ton, along with a lot of blues. Point being, according to me!, it's about to get a lot more fun.
Stay Classy PSX…
im lvl 27 and its hard finding good people to play with. either crucible or strikes. am trying to find a group to run the raid with already.
Go on the Destiny forum man, there is plenty of people looking for Raid buddies.
There are also some sites with matchmaking tools, if you put in your username, where you are located, and which activities you want to do, they will match you with people.
actually, leveling up in destiny isnt hard. its mostly about luck. i got to level 27 so far. got 3 legendary armor and an exotic helmet from theweekend mechant. all of the armors are ready to get upgraded, all i need are ascendant shards.. about 60 more i believe. drops just arent cooperating with me. only way to get those are weekly and daily public events. i think engrams too but like i said, my luck isterrible. most of my legendary engrams turned to blue.
I'm level 0 because I don't have the game. I'll never be able to level up because I'm never buying it.
LIES
High five! 🙂
Would rather get back to WoW then this. But no for both.
@LV — No interest whatsoever. If the beta did not push me to buy nothing will. The only way that I would play is if someone buys it for me and I don't think that will happen.
@JackieBoy: That's right! *high fives back*

happy gaming
I'm really close to hitting level 23. I'm totally awful at PvP so I run through bounties, strikes, and such. My PSN ID is "FoamyPants" so feel free to throw me a friend's request. I'm also in a clan so if you're looking for one, y'all are free to join up. I put a link to it and such in the forum a few days back.
I'm level 25, even though I work full time.
I could've made it to level 30 by now if I didn't have to work. 🙁
