What does Metal Gear Solid V: Guns of the Patriots have to do with the upcoming horror adventure Silent Hills ?
Well, if you've been paying attention to the news, you know that Hideo Kojima is part of both projects. In fact, Kojima Productions is behind the new Silent Hills game. But how could content in one game work in the other…?
Oh, just use your imagination: Solid Snake will actually be able to use the ghost known as Lisa as a decoy. That ghost, first seen in the freaky "P.T." demo that debuted during Gamescom this year, shows up in MGSV as an effective blow-up decoy. She comes complete with that awful wailing, too! Diamond Dog can spot Lisa at a distance, and the decoy is especially handy when enemies are standing near the edge of a cliff.
Gotta love it. Even though they're grounded in a serious narrative, there's always a slight tongue-in-cheek element in all MGS games.

At first I was really angry because the stream I saw was a little blurry so I thought the Decoy was a full life hologram of Snake. I get fussy when Metal Gear breaches realisms of its time period to a certain degree – like the boss battles in Peace Walker… But after seeing the video in HD and seeing how amateurish the decoy looks like, I am content with it. Can't wait to play about with all the features The Phantom Pain has to offer it's just so SO vast in comparison to anything else out there. I'll be buying a PS4 as soon as this is released.
I wonder if Quiet could actually be Sniper Wolf
If it were not for the dark hair I would put my money on that one. Wolf did mention some some time back with Big Boss for her back story.
Is the PT demo still on PS store?
Yep.
Still have yet to finish that demo. It's totally because I don't have the time. It's not too scary or anything. Really!
This wouldn't be the first time other Konami references have been in Metal Gears. This time it's actually part of the gameplay and not an easter egg.
uh Ben you called the game mgs v: guns of the patriots….
you even titled the pic as from mgs v: guns of the patriots…
pretty sure its wrong just sayin.
