It appears Destiny players have located a serious exploit that completely removes the need to hunt for ammo. Everyone loves an Infinite Ammo trick, right?
As you can see in the YouTube video below, a player just keeps firing rockets without having to reload, and he does the same thing with a sniper rifle. The vid shows how you can make this happen when playing solo, but we're not sure if you can do it when involved in multiplayer action. Of course, if you do this trick, you could be in trouble. Developers don't take kindly to cheaters, especially if they ruin the fun for everyone else.
In a game this size, you had to assume players would find a glitch or two. Now it's just a matter of Bungie addressing the issue, which we assume is inevitable.

un-believable, only 4 days after launch and the numb-wits are already at it. Though mainly confined to the 360 I read that the ps3 may also be open to the same exploit :-(.
The worst part is that where I used to console myself that most of this activity was confined to the xbot mentality keeping them on a different platform to mine, the fact that so many 360 gamers have migrated to sony now makes me wonder how long before this douchebaggery becomes more common place on psn 🙁
Gamers have been using exploits in games since the 99 live turtle on the step trick on level 3-1 of Super Mario Bros in 85, my man. Just something people do. No one is forcing you to do it and it's certainly not an opportunity for the petty console war nonsense.
The difference between the turtle trick and these tricks is that other people are commonly affected by the latter.
Still waiting for cheat codes to make a resurrection. If the developers decided to leave out a codes we just overrided it with a gameshark and game genie before that. The "~" key for old PC games was pretty awesome. godmode, impulse 9, and noclip for starters. My friend and I had some pretty good times summoning those humble NPCs on Unreal.
But Twisted Metal! Maybe the all time best place for cheatcodes. Never went through TM2 with out codes. Someday. Someday we'll get codes for the reboot of TM. At this rate it will have to be via PS3 emulator mod on our PCs down the road.
This glitch is fine. I wouldn't call it immoral if only on single player.
Please bring back cheatcodes!!

WoW 4 Days this has to be a new record. well w/ people playing this games 24/7 with no sleep, work or School this well happen when people get bored. I think im gonna wait & get this game used
I don't see in the vid where he hits the exploit, he just sort of has tons of ammo when he jumps off his ride.
Word is that it was a hack on a 360.
Next-gen consoles can't be hacked in the same way. Well not yet anyway.
The games to good to do this sort of thing. There is just no need to cheat.
I am having a blast! The social aspect is very good. I was on the Moon last night going solo. I was doing one of the Level 7 story missions. I all of the sudden saw another level 9 Guardian across the crater. I did an inspection and received a trophy and then invited them to my Fire Team. It was so easy as they joined my team. We played for about an hour and finished the mission which was the hardest one yet. I died 7 times and that was the first time I had died in the whole game. I play all missions on hard so I knew at some point I was going to hit the wall and need to grind a little bit.
It's to bad Destiny is receiving some bad press. The most important thing to remember is that these are all just opinions. My Opinion so far is about a 9 out of 10. I get this HUGE Mass Effect vibe from the game that really resonates with me. Looking forward to getting more and better loot and I am not to far into so I guess I will find out. Going to play some more this afternoon.
This is a hack, not a glitch. They used a separate program to change the max ammo amount.
yeah the uploader says its a mod he can turn on or off it's not a glitch/trick
well i'm not going to take the risk cos i wudn't want to get baned or something bad so when i get the game i'll just pay fair
