Yes, there's plenty of free stuff associated with the upcoming PlayStation 4 exclusive, Driveclub .
Developer Evolution Studios has outlined the free downloadable content plans over at the PlayStation Blog , and racing followers should be satisfied.
They'll get that amazing weather system and the photo mode for free, for instance, and one free car will be released every month from October through June. On top of which, "more new tracks" will join the 25 that will ship with the game, and all these new tracks will be free as well. Evolution plans to deliver "a full calendar of new release DLC that will run deep into 2015," and that content will consist of more cars, campaign expansions and even new Trophies.
Some DLC packs will be part of the Season Pass, which will go for $24.99. The cool part is that if you add up everything you'll get with that Season Pass, it actually works out to almost a $76 value! Of course, you can always pay real money and unlock cars sooner but that's for pansy-ass sissies, right?
Lastly, Evolution would like to hear from you. If there's something you want to see after the game launches, speak up and the developer will definitely lend an ear. Things are looking up for Driveclub , which launches next month.
