It could end up being the first quality Alien video game in a very long time.
Sega has announced that the anticipated new title from Creative Assembly, Alien: Isolation , has officially gone gold. This means it will be available to purchase on its intended release date of October 7.
The publisher also announced that they've generated a series of short trailers for the game; the series is dubbed "How Will You Survive?" and the first is available below. The idea is to show off the game's survival/horror-esque qualities, which is the prime reason why Isolation could be great for fans of the sci-fi movie. As far as I'm concerned, all games based on "Alien" should be about survival, not action.
Alien: Isolation is headed to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. Players will assume the role of Amanda Ripley, daughter of iconic protagonist Ellen Ripley. For more, check out our preview .
