If you're excited for Destiny , you might consider attending a nearby launch festivity.
Retailer GameStop will be hosting thousands of launch parties for Bungie's hotly anticipated shared-world shooter. Starting on the night of September 8, around 4,100 GameStop locations will be ready to party.
While you wait for midnight to roll around, you can partake of several activities, such as contests and performances by local bands, as well as food trucks. The latter don't actually have food , of course, but whatever. To find out exactly what your local store has planned, give 'em a call and ask. Chances are, they're going to be doing something, and it'll involve some distractions for waiting in line.
I've never been to a midnight launch. Oddly, I don't feel like I'm missing out on much…am I?

I'd love to team up with you if I was planning on buying it.
I'd give it a go if you were in the Australasia region.
They're fun for 25 and unders I think. At least, that's about the age I last enjoyed one. I went for the Dark Souls II launch and felt really awkward and I didn't even wait in line. I just drove up at 12:30 when the lines are usually gone, walked in, and walked out. So there ya go
Sorry guys but I gotta do it.
