The Evil Within European Launch Date Moved Up

It's usually pretty standard:

When a new game comes out, it typically arrives on Tuesday in North America and then lands two or three days later in the European region. That was going to be the case for the anticipated horror title, The Evil Within .

But now, publisher Bethesda has moved up the PAL date to coincide with the US date; both versions will launch on October 14. The European version was slated for October 16. The new date applies to Europe, the Middle East, India and South Africa, and it includes both the physical and digital versions of the title. The Evil Within is coming to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.

The other international dates remain the same, as Australia and New Zealand will see the game on October 16, and Japan gets it on October 23.
