Okay, so you couldn't make it all the way to Cologne for Gamescom last week. And as such, you missed out on the massive gameplay presentation of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt .
But no worries, we've got you covered. So go get some popcorn and kick back.
Here's 35 minutes of excellent Wild Hunt footage take directly from the Gamescom presentation and it's all sorts of enticing. I have a theory as to why we keep seeing so many gameplay videos, though: The game is so massively gigantic that the developers aren't worried about showing you a full half-hour here and another forty-five minutes there. The chances of you seeing the same thing twice are basically nil, right?
Anyway, check this out. It'll make your day if you're a hardcore role-playing fanatic.

Hard not to like the look of this. What is the estimated level of difficulty for this series?
Believe it is above average combat isn't really a major thing in the first two. It seems more involved than actually being difficult what with the hundreds of branching choices and dozens of multiple endings, etc.
I really need to get a proper gaming Desktop to play the first two. =
Nevermind that, what kind of combat does it have? What's it compare with?
I think I understand. Others have told me it's immensely difficult. Sort of a Skyrim meets Dark Souls.
I'll actually watch a little since it will be 10 years until this is out.
I hope it's the kind of game that rules your whole life like Skyrim without the vapidness of Dragon's Dogma.
Gonna need some fast travel I think.
Can't wait to spend an endless amount of hours and lose my already poor social life in that gorgeous virtual world!
Looks fantastic. Shame I'm not interested in it though.
The Witcher games are not difficult. They are as difficult as playing a Dragon Age game, but the game is for adults because you can get lucky with some of the secondary charaters you help on the way and it has nudity. A guilty pleasure. They raise the bar in graphics for RPGs (like the Elder Scroll games).
The more I see the more I cannot wait for this game! Looks absolutely epic! although the npc designs look goofy and off putting.Dialogue is kinda silly as well. But the size, scope, graphics, maturity, combat, menus, and the main character look badass!
I will wait for a price drop since the dev said tge game won't be 1080p.It'sthe principles. They are going to charge full price, but are not delivering the full experience.
Judging from the soft camera movements it looks like it is taken from the PS4 version too. Impressive.
