Over the years, we've seen all kinds of finishing moves in the Mortal Kombat franchise.
The Fatality is iconic, but don't forget about the Brutalities, Babalities, Animalities, Friendships, and special Pit Fatalities. Not all of them have made it into recent installments, but one will return in the upcoming Mortal Kombat X .
Series creator Ed Boon confirmed the information with IGN but wouldn't spill the beans:
"For those who are familiar with Mortal Kombat, we first had the Fatality and we added a Babality. We had the Friendship moves, Brutality moves and all of these crazy things over the years. We are going to be reinstating an 'Ality' from a previous game into Mortal Kombat X. And I can't wait to be able to talk about it but at the moment I can't."
2011's Mortal Kombat reboot boasted Fatalities, Babalities and Pit Fatalaities, so those might be out. How's about Brutalities? That would fit this exceedingly dark atmosphere we're seeing in MKX, right? Me, I prefer to see Animalities again; the Babalities and Friendships were always lame sauce, anyway.
Related Game(s): Mortal Kombat X
It's called Final Fatalities 10 Part 2. You get to play dress up and give them special huggy powers to show you care.
End of line.
I'd like to see super elaborate and hilarious friendships.
But don't lose pit fatalities those are the best.
Aaaaahhhhhhhhh oh! *spikes*
Babyality… or was it babieality… whatever.
Since they are going darker it'll most likely be Animality. Babality isn't really that "lost" since it was in MK9

well that souds interesting and he certainly sounded excited.
happy gaming
Brutality will likely be the one. I, too, am hoping the "pit fatalities" remain intact… Or get upgraded to Brutality stage fatality. With a better name, of course. 🙂
