Ben-DutkaDespite the less than desirable launch, developer DICE continues to work to make Battlefield 4 a better online experience.
An upcoming update set for next month will boast "core gameplay improvements," which should make FPS fans happy.
As announced at the Battlefield Blog , the team has been working for two months on this new update. Its Community Test Environment (CTE) has taken strides to implement player-requested upgrades; for instance, they'll change the movement so it's more like Battlefield 4 (and without compromising graphical quality). They've also tweaked some game modes, "de-cluttered" the HD/User Interface, and made revives easier to use and understand.
The developers will toss in a few more "netcode" improvements as well, which should help to further stabilize the game. But it won't end there: The next CTE plan involves the Teamplay Initiative, which will offer advancements to the Commander Mode, Squads, Field Upgrades and even more bugs fixes. See? Can't blame DICE for not working!

I checked out BF4 from Game Fly. I couldn't play the single player campaign for more than 20min before the game play became so boring and redundant I had to send it back.
The graphics looked nice, for as boring as the location was that is.

So wait you judged Battlefield on the campaign? BF3 was the first main entry to even bother with a campaign and even then it wasn't that good with this one probably being worse IMO.

I now see why the PS4 was made with PC architecture. It was because, like regular PC Games, they can bring it out halfway done and watch idiots like us pay for it and laugh at us while we wait a month to actually play the full game, then patch it to fix it as time goes by. But …..
DONT FORGET TO BUY THAT SEASON PASS!! DIE EA DIE!!

What they need to do is to fix all the game freezes for the PS3.
