For the past few months, we've heard a lot about Destiny .
It really has stolen the show as of late, despite the ridiculous amount of attention The Last Of Us: Remastered received. Now, however, we're mere hours from the multiplayer debut of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare , so perhaps the hype will shift…
It has been Destiny this, Destiny that for weeks and weeks, but when you start talking about the multiplayer component in a new Call of Duty , the gaming world tends to go apesh**. The only reason Advanced Warfare hasn't really owned the headlines thus far is because we've only seen campaign footage thus far, and let's face it, how many day-one CoD purchasers give a crap about the narrative? It's all about the multiplayer and for the most part, always has been.
So, is it possible that this worldwide multiplayer premier could actually diminish interest in Bungie's blockbuster? Will all the FPS fans out there go, "oh, that's right, there's a new Call of Duty coming." So involved were they with the Destiny beta that they didn't really think about Advanced Warfare . But this weekend (August 11 is the date), all bets are off, and we'll see just how much of a stranglehold CoD still has on this industry.

Nope.
no.
Nah.
It's a win-win scenario for Activision..
Yeah…NO!
It would have to be pretty spectacular and that's not a word commonly used to describe the franchise. I'm not even a big FPS fan but with its RPG and MMO elements, Destiny is a sure buy.CoD who???
Narrative in cod? Doubt that matters.
I do believe that there will be some loss for Destiny, but it won't be much of a burden. Bungie has a great product in a very well delivered package. Cod can't stop all of the momentum.
It would be a different story if Bungie didn't take on the beta program…
um i will say no probably not but anything can happen but i said it previously i don't think as many ppl care about COD with destiny coming and every loves bungie so they come to support bungie in droves.
happy gaming
yeah it think it will be COD who lets play destiny honestly it looks like a much more engaging game with much more depth and we trust bungie knows what they are doing. but yeah i think i won't matter all the hype and momentium is going with destiny i mean have you hear anyone going can't wait to hear about the new COD stuff not really but it cud work out for activicion but i kinda doubt it some how.

Those games are 2 month apart so, NO . The biggest hype about destiny for me is that , it s the first game to buy in the past 3-4 months .This summer have been so boring as game goes .
