Gamescom is just around the corner and Sony is prepping a great show.
We know we'll see a lot of hotly anticipated titles, but which one is Sony teasing in this brief, somewhat obscure video…?
Is it the horror game Until Dawn ? It's feasible. The video is simply entitled #PlayStationGC, and we get a few shots of snowflakes and cracking ice, along with droplets of blood. The sound effects are a little unsettling, which is what leads me to believe we're watching a teaser for a freaky title. Until Dawn was recently rumored to be on display at the upcoming trade show, so…
Gamescom runs between August 13 and 17 in Cologne, Germany. Sony's press conference is set for Tuesday, August 12, at 11 a.m. PDT. Will they reveal any big surprises?

I honestly got no clue at this point, crazy generation.
Snow, ice, blood / blood splatter. There also appears to be something hidden beyond the ice. I'm also seeing screaming faces if you pause right when the ice is cracking, though that might be an odd unrelated visual effect. Though, looking at it again, they might be intentional.
At first I thought it was a claw mark. Now it looks like some type of face laughing and wearing a mask, and a woman's face screaming.
Here's a picture of what I'm seeing. Maybe it's nothing, maybe it's something.

its amazing how many films of this weve had, but also how few games!
Saw some interesting theories on YouTube.
One points out the snowflake. Game engines that it could be referencing; Snowdrop or Frostbite.
New Division details? Possibly.
New Star Wars Battlefront 3 details? I hope so.
My only other guess would be an unannounced Santa Monica project.
