Assassin's Creed has always featured massive game maps, which were more historically accurate than one might think.
But it looks like the developers have once again topped themselves with the upcoming Assassin's Creed: Unity . A Reddit user leaked the entire map of Paris that we'll see in the new next-gen title, and it's huge .
Perhaps even more impressive, though, is the fact that it's very similar to an actual 18th-century map of the French city. Another Reddit user compared the map of the game with a real map and while certainly not identical, the similarities are obvious. Exploring Paris should be absolutely riveting and we anticipate a new level of immersion!
Assassin's Creed: Unity is set to launch for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on October 28.
Cool. Unity is a day 1 $20 purchase… the day it becomes $20 ….I give it 6 months time from release =)
You are very likely right. At least the PC version.
The AC series has been a great example of how an IP can defy the stigma of yearly releases. I'm looking forward to yet another AC game; especially since it's rewinding back to a time frame that works so ridiculously well for the story. Oui, oui!
Cant wait day one purchase for me especially since its only on Ps4/XBOX1. Best part the Ps4/XBOX1 version wont be held back by the Ps3/360 unlike Black Flag.
yeah well i have heard they do try hard to do historyically accuray settings and maps which i can appreciate.
happy gaming
